Cleanouts provide an easy way to keep your downspouts and in-ground leaders clean by opening the door and removing any debris / leaves.
The process may also be automated by leaving the door open and using it as a diverter.

Installation
Cleanouts are slightly tapered to allow for an easier installation on any standard round downspout pipe,
assuming that the crimped end is still present on the downspout. If not, or if the fit is tight, crimping the end of the downspout and the cleanout
(to accept another pipe or elbow) is easily done with
crimpers.
If those are not readily available, a needle nose plier can work. Another option is to make a few cuts with
sheet metal snips.
Copper is the most popular metal for downspout cleanouts. It is offered in 16 oz. and 20 oz.
Freedom Gray® (zinc / tin coated copper) is offered in 16 oz. and 20 oz.
Galvalume Plus is offered in 24 gauge.
Lead Coated Copper is offered in 16 oz. and 20 oz.
Zinc is offered in 0.7 mm and 0.8 mm with a raw finish.
