SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

Please read these SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions carefully.
K&M Sheet Metal LLC (“K&M,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an SMS/text messaging service to provide customers with transactional and order-related notifications.
By affirmatively opting in to SMS/text messaging through the SMS consent checkbox during checkout, through your K&M Documents Portal profile, or by otherwise expressly opting in to the service, you consent to receive order-related text messages from K&M at the mobile telephone number you provide.
Providing a mobile telephone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS/text messages. SMS consent is optional and is not required to purchase products or services from K&M.
Message frequency varies depending on your orders and their status. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a K&M text message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact K&M using the information below.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to Opt In
You may opt in to K&M order-related SMS/text messages in any of the following ways:
During checkout: Enter your mobile telephone number and affirmatively select the SMS consent checkbox agreeing to receive order-related text messages from K&M.
Through the K&M Documents Portal: Visit My Profile, enter or confirm your mobile telephone number, select the SMS consent checkbox, and submit your profile changes.
By text message: If you previously opted out by text message, you may reply START to a K&M text message to opt back in.
The SMS consent checkbox is optional and is not selected automatically. You may complete a purchase or maintain a K&M account without consenting to SMS/text messages.
Your consent applies only to the order-related and transactional messages described in these Terms. K&M does not use this consent to send marketing or promotional text messages.
How to Opt Out
You may withdraw your consent to receive K&M SMS/text messages at any time.
To opt out by text message, reply STOP to the telephone number from which K&M text messages are being sent. After your opt-out request is processed, you will no longer receive K&M order-related SMS/text messages unless you subsequently opt in again.
If you have a K&M Documents Portal account, you may also withdraw your SMS consent by visiting My Profile, clicking the edit button, unchecking the SMS consent checkbox, and submitting your changes.

If you previously opted out and later wish to receive K&M order-related text messages again, you may opt in again through checkout, through your Documents Portal profile, or by replying START where supported.
Types of Messages You May Receive
After opting in, you may receive transactional and order-related messages from K&M concerning orders you place with us.
Depending on your order and fulfillment method, these messages may include:
Order confirmations and estimated ship-by dates.
Links to order information in the K&M Documents Portal.
Notifications that an order is complete and ready for pickup.
Shipping notifications and tracking information for UPS, USPS, LTL, or other shipments.
K&M Delivery notifications informing you that your order is out for delivery.
Links that allow you to track a K&M Delivery in real time.
Other non-marketing service notifications directly related to your order, shipment, pickup, or delivery.
K&M's SMS program is intended for transactional and order-related communications and not for marketing or promotional text messages.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the number of orders you place with K&M, the fulfillment method for those orders, and changes in order, shipping, pickup, or delivery status.
Your Mobile Telephone Number
You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile telephone number you provide to K&M, or that you have permission from the subscriber or customary user to provide the number and consent to receive messages at that number.
You agree to provide accurate and current contact information. If your mobile telephone number changes, is reassigned, or you are no longer the customary user of the number, you should promptly update your information in the K&M Documents Portal or contact K&M.
Please do not provide a mobile telephone number belonging to another person unless you are authorized to provide that number and consent to communications at that number.
Cost
K&M does not charge a separate fee for its SMS/text messaging service.
However, message and data rates may apply to messages sent to or received from K&M according to your mobile telephone service plan. Contact your wireless carrier for information about your messaging and data plan.
Privacy
K&M does not sell, rent, or share your SMS consent or mobile telephone number with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Information associated with your SMS consent may be retained by K&M, including the status of your consent, the date of an opt-in or opt-out, and the method through which the consent preference was provided or changed.

Changes to These SMS Terms
K&M may update these SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any updated terms will be posted on this page with the applicable effective date.
Changes to these Terms will not convert your consent to receive transactional and order-related messages into consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages.
