K&M's Aluminum Solid Gutter Guards - Available in 24 Gauge 304 2B Stainless Steel
Solid Gutter Cover made to fit K-Style Gutter, Box Gutters or Half-Round Gutters
K&M's Solid Leaf Gutter Cover can be easily installed over several gutter profiles to keep to absolute most amount of debris out of a gutter system in
a rain storm. Our Solid Gutter Cover uses water tension: rain water sticks to the gutter cover then travels backwards and flows into the inside
of the gutter, while debris are pushed out requiring minimal maintenance.
Because of its shape, our solid gutter cover is the recommended choice for roof pitches under 12" and roofs that see the most amount of debris! End caps available for purchase for a complete installation.
K&M's Gutter Screen vs. K&M's Gutter Cover
Gutter Covers need to be installed under the roof and are recommended for smaller roof pitches. It is the better choice for applications
with the most amount of debris.
Typically, for cedar, shingle and slate roofing, the maximum pitch is around 12. For standing seam metal roof panels, usually 8. This is not
always the case for either as it also depends on water flow and debris amount, but is a good starting point to plan your installation.
Gutter Screens allow for higher roof pitches, can be mounted directly to a fascia board, or be installed under a roof, but may collect some
debris like pine needles over time.

Installation
The front portion may be secured to the front bead of the gutter via rivets or screws. The back part
will sit on the roof deck, under the roof shingles, slates etc. Normally, this is an extremely easy installation with minimal work required, however, in some installations, for some gutters, some on site tweaking may be necessary.
Please keep this in mind.
Attaching lengths is much like doing the same with gutters, by overlapping and securing them if needed. You can also just butt the seams. Same goes for miters, cut as needed, overlap and attach.
